Blogs, Wikis and Social Bookmarks, Oh My

Today, I am meeting with a group of teachers and we are exploring blogs, wikis and social bookmarking. All of the teachers have attended other professional development sessions this summer so we know each other fairly well, and we are having a good time. The wiki we are using has guided the instruction all summer long. (Thank goodness for Web2.0)

Each time I introduce teachers to blogs I look at them with "fresh eyes." I try to remember what it was like the first time I read one and all the stuff that went with them. And as you know, new widgets and gadgets appear daily so they look fancier and fancier but the content or the conversation is still king.

We have had great time reading lots of teacher blogs, Support Blogging: Bloggers List. Thanks to all the bloggers out there who make it all possible.

Thank you Anita, Sandy, and Cindy!
